Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast as the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant while filming season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to work on the show.
