Megan Gale
Gale was only 18 when she received a prize in a modeling contest held when she was 18 years old. She won a modeling competition in Perth. After many years of modeling, Gale rose to fame when in 1999 was cast to model in a string of ads for an Italian Telecommunications firm, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and was featured in the advertisement of the company up to 2006.She was also commissioned as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as 'their face of Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she was featured in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale has modeled in Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways with Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. 9. Gale likes a lot of Australian designers, such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale was the fashion analyst for the Australian TV awards known as the Logies. In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement of runway fashion after fifteen years. She took to the catwalk for the final moment a few days later in the David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. Her final outfit she was wearing Wonder Woman's dress in her Justice League of America movie that never came out. Gale ended Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
